an introduction to a very empty blog

hello there :)!
I'm writing this first post to a very empty blog & no audience. Hooray! Anyway, in order to move post that awkward feeling of writing to no one, I thought it would be a great idea to set the expectation on this blog, say a little more about myself, and make some things clear.
The purpose of this blog is to connect with people and create a community. I've always desired this and recently I've felt I should be proactive and take a step towards that. Community is something I do not think I have enough of. I'm still figuring out what I'd like this blog to be about. For now, I want to focus on lifestyle, current events, home decoration/renovations, and Scripture.
I'm passionate about the things I'd like to focus this blog on. I will say that I would like to have a better focus on what this blog will be about but I think it will be made clear with time. *Full disclosure* I am not that great at writing, but I intend to get better as I ease into this new venture. ANYWAY, more about who I am... My name is Vanessa Sanchez. The most important thing in my life is my faith and after that my family. I would describe myself as an ambitious person that wants the best for myself and those around me. I highly value sincerity, honesty, and righteousness.
I've been married for about three years, and I have two dogs and one bird. Below you'll find a picture of me and Grimm (one of my dogs). I'll start sharing more about myself as I write more posts. I value being personal & vulnerable with others.

I want to make clear my belief system so there are no surprises down the road about this blog. I may be coming off a bit strong- I've been told that I can be direct. I am a conservative woman, and a Christian (as mentioned above).I have a strong desire ( I believe the Lord has instilled this in me) to serve others. I will be talking more about this in future posts. But, for now I think this little intro will suffice.
I hope to see you around here often. I would love to connect with others & share in community with you! Please don't be shy. All people welcome <3.
Much love,
Vanessa
